I first
learnt to ride in Dubai where I grew up, and my parents still live there.
I came to the UK when I was
16 with the dream of becoming an event rider, this was no mean dream to
follow. It has brought lots of highs and and a few lows but those highs
make is so worthwhile.
I was initially based at
David Green's yard while I was studying at Hartpury College where I
completed my BSc (Hons) in Equine Science.
I rode for Jocelyn Riley
at Equestrian Direct for two years, before moving to Robert Smith's
where I started my own competition yard.
I was shortlisted for
the European CIC** Eventing Team with Rockhill Yogi Boy.
Soon afterwards I moved
and was based at Swalcliffe Park on the Oxfordshire/Warwickshire border.
I soon started to gain
more and more clients and the teaching side of my business also started
to take off.
In November 2016 I moved
to Lillycot Farm Stables in Warwickshire, where I am still based today.
I feel very fortunate to be based here
as the facilities are excellent. I am very grateful that my landlords
are forever improving the yard and infrastructure.
I have competed
successfully up to CCI *** and am aiming for the CCI*** at Ballindisk in
the Autumn. My top horse, Ustinov Van Elsenham has qualified for the
Intermediate Championships at Gatcombe, we are also heading to Haras Le
Pin.
I am lucky to have a
great team behind me and some very talented nice young horses.
